I have been using D'avines hair products and shampoos for at least 15yrs and love everything I have tried, my go to is nou nou, and I recently bought the momo shampoo and conditioner and love it. And now I think my new favorite is the OI shampoo and conditioner and the smell is great. I also have used then OI hair oil for years and love it as well.

I’m torn because I do think this shampoo/conditioner can help bring back some moisture to my hair but the smell is intense. It’s very floral. Maybe if I use it enough, I won’t be able to smell it anymore??

So much to love and appreciate about the OI line! I have fine hair and OI transforms my blah stands into a shiny, silky, frizz free, hydrated, healthy, manageable miracle. The big benefit is I don’t have to use styling products in order to make my hair “behave”. My dark blonde lob loves Roucou oil so adding in the All in One Milk is a necessity to achieve that effortless style that wears well for days and causes zero damage.

Found one shampoo in America after my favorite American based brand their formula. As a South Asian, it has been hard to find a good hair product for my medium but 2A hair. Almost all hydrating shampoos, weigh my hair down, and the other options made my hair frizzy and poofy. The clarifying shampoos made my hair dry.
So I always end up shipping hair care products from foreign countries that actually make products for people who have hair like mine.
So , I'm glad I was able to give a trial of Davines recently and ended up getting Oi shampoo, it makes my hair soft and moisturized without weighing down, this is very imporant. So my hair is neither dry, nor frizzy but also not weighed down and oily by end of third day. My hair stays soft and shiny even at end of 4th day.

My only wish is that more salons would carry this product. I was excited when I found that I could order Davines directly from the factory and not through a store. I was pleasantly surprised by this shampoo. I have coarse, wavy-curly hair and I have a problem with products building up easily on my hair. This is a liquidy formula that has a nice lather and a gentle cleanse. It is more on the moisturizing side, but it rinses nicely and doesn’t leave a residue feeling on my hair. (I always double-cleanse). It has a beautiful fragrance, but it is strong so if you are sensitive this may not be for you. I took off a star because while I enjoy the consistency, the screw cap makes it difficult to control the amount that dispenses. This product is concentrated, and at this price point I certainly don’t want to waste it!

Don't judge book by its cover. When I saw the bottle of this shampoo I thought it looked like a medicine bottle and I thought the results will not be that good. The results amazed me. The packaging looks cheap and smell is just fine. The consistency is good. It creates a good amount of lather in my hairs and rinse off easily. The hairs become very soft in just single wash and it remains soft the whole day. I think they should work on packaging and the instructions were not in English. Overall I just love the results and will buy it. I recommend this shampoo. I received this shampoo as gift in exchange for my honest reviews.

I have heavy high and low lights and needed a product that would continue keeping my hair healthy with beautiful shine. The fragrance is wonderful and I love it. I’ve been using the Hair Softening Shampoo and I’m loving the results. My hair feels incredibly soft and looks so shiny after each wash. I wanted to love this as so many great reviews and I really like the heart of glass line, BUT my hair did not respond well to this line, it made my hair feel like straw and OMG the smell!! Nasty wet dog mixed with cloves…it literally gagged me in the shower. The dried version doesn’t smell much better. I used the conditioner, milk and oil and it smoothed out pretty decently once blow dried and flat ironed, but it was not as soft as when I use the Heart of glass. I wish they wouldn’t limit qty and only send samples with orders as I would like to try a couple of other product lines without being stuck with expensive product if it doesn’t work well with my hair.

I will depart from Davines ever again . I had to cut down costs and couldn’t buy this anymore. But my hair paid the price. It was a constant frizz issue with my wavy hair, especially living in Florida! I love to air dry my hair and this allows me to have frizz free hair, soft and smelling wonderful! I have been using the Oi product line since Covid times. I get my hair colored every 6 weeks and Baylage twice a year. The salon I go to doesn't use the Davines line, but my hairl stylist tells me my hair has in its best shape for the past 4 years. She tells me to continue with my Oi routine and do not change a thing! I wash my hair with Oi every 3-4 days and use the conditioner 1x weekly. A very little goes a long way with the shampoo and the conditioner and I have medium length hair; so the price point seems expensive at first, but if used as stated- you will use Oi for very a long time. I usually only have to purchase 1-2x yearly. I love this product line and will always purchase. People usually comment about healthy and lovely my hair looks/smells. The free samples they send along are a bonus as well! I hope this as helpful. Hair type- fine/thick/medium length/golden blonde.

I've been using OI for years now. It is the only shampoo and conditioner that never builds up, and never disappoints. Some reviewers mention the screw-off cap of the shampoo. I also found this less than ideal, so I substitute a pop-open cap from one of my other brand products ... now all is perfect! I have no reason to ever stop using OI.

Although I love Davines products, please be aware that if you have an issue there is no customer service line to speak with someone if you have an issue. I ordered 2 advent calendar boxes, only 1 showed up. I emailed them 3 times now several pictures of labels and boxes showing how it was labeled with 2 but clearly could not fit 2 in the box it was delivered in. It’s been 4 days and no response or resolution. It was to be a Christmas gift so I cannot express how disappointing this is, and I’m out $169.
